Don’t leave me, even for an hour, because
then the little drops of anguish will all run together,
the smoke that roams looking for a home will drift
into me, choking my lost heart….
-Pablo Neruda
I took this photo with my Canon Rebel recently. This was just after it had been raining for most of the morning. It turned out to be a gorgeous Fall day once the sun appeared.

Happy Thanksgiving and have a great rest of the week everyone! xo

Oh how lovely. Of all the images to be captured on camera trees are way up there as my favourites along with stormy seas.

Hi Naida,
We had the remnants of a storm system pass over us a couple of weeks ago, which ripped all the remaining leaves from the trees. One round of operation ‘leaf clear’ is finished, but it looks as though there may need to be a second round to get things properly tidy before winter sets in!
The autumn colours were spectacular this year and Dave did manage to capture some really good shots, which I am trying to persuade him to guest post each week on Wordless Wednesday.
The words of the poem fit the pictures so well.
I hope that you had a lovely Thanksgiving Day 🙂
Yvonne
