Happy Sunday. How is it Sunday already? I took a 3 day weekend and headed straight to the beach again. I love going to the beach during August because it is already cooler in the mornings and a little bit cooler into the evenings.

I’m watching the 90210 Mockumentary. It’s not the same without Luke Perry but curiosity got the better of me.

Also, watching Black Spot on Netflix after a recommendation from another blogger, Greg.

And I got hooked into Love Island on Hulu. Don’t judge me. It’s perfect mindless reality tv after a long workday when my brain is too fried for deep thoughts. Half the time I have no idea what they are saying since the British accents are very thick.

    We have had some really bad storms, flooding and gale force winds this last week and the coming week doesn’t show much improvement! I guess we are suffering for having had the hottest July ever recorded. Even as a non-beach lover, your pictures look fantastic to me right now 🙂

    Your selection of cozy mysteries all look good, however as not much of an animal person, the craft quilter mystery would have to be the one I would choose to read.

    I also like the sound of ‘Dark Blossom’, however the cover is really not appealing at all, with the way in which the word blossom has been set on two lines – what gives with that concept?

    • Hi Yvonne, I hope the storms let up over there!
      I am looking forward to reading the cozies, they are quick easy reads.
      I agree on the Dark Blossom cover also, I don’t know why they split the wording that way. I am not finished reading though so maybe it will be revealed in the story.

  3. What a lovely way to spend the weekend, Naida. It’s starting to heat up here. Just in time for the kids to be back in school. Hopefully the classroom air conditioners are working. :-S

    I see you are watching BH90210 too. I miss Luke Perry too. I know he wasn’t planning on being part of the reunion anyway, but it is still sad he wasn’t able to even make a special appearance.

  11. How cute is the cover of Deadly Ride! We were Love Island tragics too until the accents got the better of us and my husband said he’s not watching anymore he can’t understand a thing they are saying. 😂

    • lol about Love Island, I’m hooked on season 2 right now. The seasons are long though. Oh my gosh, the accents and there’s even Irish in there too. I need subtitles. 🙂
