The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog…
Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists….
Happy Sunday. Wow, it’s turned so cold already. This week consisted of icy morning temps in the 20’s and a frosty car with a few warmer temps during the daytime to tease us. All that means is that Winter will soon be here.
I had a busy week with work being hectic and having to work overtime so I didn’t get too much reading done these last two weeks but I managed to finish up one book yesterday so that was good.
Plus Otis has been sick so I ended up taking him to the vet this past week. He is fine now but he was congested and started sounding asthmatic with wheezing, the vet said it’s a respiratory infection. She put him on a round of antibiotics and steroids and he is doing much better now. His vet is great and she really cares.
onto more updates….
currently reading:
I’m still reading A Crafter Quilts a Crime: A Handcrafted Mystery and I am wondering who dunnit plus enjoying the crafts involved in the storyline as well. I set this one aside for a Christmas book that I finished up this week…
coming soon:
I read Christmas at Rosie Hopkins’ Sweetshop: A Novel for Ho Ho Ho Read-a-Thon so my thoughts will be up this week.
recently on the blog:
I posted about my favorite bookmarks.
in my mailbox:
Wish Upon a Cowboy (Cowboys of Creedence) by Jennie Marts arrived via the publisher. I am excited about this one because I read the first book in this series Caught Up in a Cowboy this past September and it was good.
Watching:
I’ve been watching Castle Rock season 2 which is OMG so good. There is just one episode left for the season. I am enjoying the plot twists and where they have taken Annie Wilkes’ story-line! I’ve also been catching episodes of Cold Case Files on Netflix which has been oddly addictive and at the same time sad to watch.
That wraps up my updates for the week. What are you up to? Enjoy your week.

Yes I’ve been running around in my winter coat UGH. I was able to wear flip-flops and a lighter jacket this morning to take Lulu out and there’s finally a little sun. This week is supposed to be better. I’ve had to cover the garden at night too. Have a lovely week and enjoy your reads!
