Wordless Wednesday

Maybe January light will consume
My heart with its cruel
Ray, stealing my key to true calm.
-Pablo Neruda

I took the above photo this month after a snowstorm. I love how quiet and peaceful it was on that day.
The excerpt above is from a poem called I Do Not Love You Except Because I Love You by the incomparable Pablo Neruda. Read it in its entirety by clicking here.

    • Blod, same here. It’s dreary alot of time these cold months, but when the sun does shine, especially on the snow, it’s so pretty.

  1. Hi Naida,

The north of the UK and Scotland have had their fair share of days which mirror your own image and equal in its beauty and serenity. Down here in the milder south, dreary and mucky are probably better adjectives to sum up the ‘nothing’ weather we have seen just lately. Roll on Spring!
