Happy weekend, I hope this post finds you well. This past week really dragged on. At least we had some sunny albeit very cold and windy days and we had pretty flurries yesterday. Also of note, I tried Wendy’s breakfast for the first time yesterday and their coffee and French toast sticks were very delish so now I’ve found a new favorite thing.

Here’s Otis at his favorite spot by the window while I was typing up this post on my laptop this morning. He likes to sit here on his blanket for napping as well as people watching. It’s nice being Otis lol.

watching:
The Last of Us continues to be really good and the season finale is coming up.
I watched the documentary The Plane That disappeared about the Boeing 777 that seemed to disappear out of thin air in 2014. This was a sad and scary documentary, and I had no idea so many conspiracy theories were involved with this. It is definitely nuts that they don’t really know what happened.
I also watched Fall which although you need to suspend disbelief for was pretty good. However, they left one major thing unexplained at the end which left me feeling cheated.


crochet:
My hexagon cardigan is coming along nicely and I’m nearly done. I finished one sleeve and am working on the second sleeve now. I added ribbing on the cuff to make it fitted to my wrist while also giving it some stretch.

  2. That cardigan is so pretty! I love Wendy’s chicken breakfast sandwich, if they still have it. We had a lot of rainy cloudy days this past week sadly. Hoping for more sun this week. Otis is like my two dogs. I bought a chair to sit and relax on in my office, but it’s also up against the windows so they can sit on the back of it and look out the window, lol. Have a good week!

    • Thank you, I’m having fun crocheting another cardigan. Yay for Wendy’s breakfast!
      The dogs are cute when they sit at the window to stare outside. Otis never gets tired of that lol. Enjoy your week!

  8. Nothing much been happening here either. The weather is still very much in winter mode, with today (Monday) being very blustery and feeling chilly. We did manage to get a lovely Sunday walk together around one of the National Trust properties which is only a ten minute drive away and that was lovely!

    I haven’t done too much reading and I am currently working through a tense psychological thriller ‘My Husband’s Lover’ by Jess Ryder. I also posted a review today ‘The Three Of Us’ by Ore Agbaje-Williams.

    I have several Afghan throws mid way through and a couple of knitted baby blankets. I usually only work on one item at a time, so I am still trying to work out what went wrong recently!

    • HI Yvonne the walk sounds really nice! Enjoy the thrilling read, I’ll have to check out your latest reviews.
      I’m sure the knitted blankets are beautiful. I have several project ideas in my mind, but there’s just not enough hours in one day. My crochet project list is as long as my TBR.

  11. People are probably sick of me popping up in their comments saying “Ooo I can’t wait to get back home to L.A. so that I, too, can…” but here we are again! I can’t WAIT to get home to L.A. so that I can have Wendy’s any time I want it because there is one a mere 4 miles down the road.

    The finale of The Last of Us was good but way too short! Have they started filming S2 yet? lol
